my stock non bose cd player is on the fritz and i really wanna stay with the stock system so my friend gave me one out of his 08. i noticed his has two screw tabs on the bottom that the 03-05 cd players dont have. has anyone tried to do the swap?

 

a simple search will yield great results. try it out.

 

i did search first smartass. all i found is stuff about people switching to aftermarket or non bose people switching to bose. i found nothing about puting an 06-08 non bose HU into a 03 non bose car....
