2003 350z Innovatek Double Din wiring help
Hello guys this is my first radio install so please be patient with me
I have bought a wiring harness for my car, here are the connections going from the car to the radio:
12 Volt Ignition/ Acc. (RED)
12 Volt Battery/Memory (YELLOW)
Ground (BLACK)
AMP Ground (BLACK/WHITE)
Power Antenna (BLUE)
Amp Turn-On (BLUE/WHITE)
Illumination (ORANGE)
Dimmer (ORANGE/WHITE)
Right Front Spk+ (GRAY)
Right Front Spk - (GRAY/BLACK)
Left Front Spk+ (WHITE)
Left Front Spk- (WHITE/BLACK)
Right Rear Spk+ (VIOLET)
Right Rear Spk- (VIOLET/BLACK)
Left Rear Spk+ (GREEN)
Left Rear Spk- (GREEN/BLACK)
Now for the cables coming from the head unit. I'm including what the tabs say on the cables. Its an Innovatek IN-W72GPS double din unit.
Black (Ground)
Red (ACC Power)
Brown (Reverse)
Orange (Steering key+)
Red/White (Right speaker front -)
Black/White (Right speaker front +)
Green (Left speaker front -)
Black/Green (Left speaker front +)
Yellow (Battery +12v)
Blue (Illumination)
Blue/White (The tab on the cable says AMP control while in the manual it labels it as a Spk Control...same thing?)
Orange/Black (Antenna Power)
Gray (Left speaker rear -)
Black/Gray (Left speaker rear +)
Purple (Right speaker rear +)
Black/Purple (Right speaker rear -)
This unit also has a Blue/White cable with a Brake Input tab on it.
If someone would be kind enough and tell me what to connect with what. The speaker channels make sense, but the power connectors names confuse me. I don't want to tinker with the voltages and burn my new radio
Thank you in advance

No one....? I have downloaded user's manual for my 2003 350z and I can't find anything about the radio wires... Yes it talks about the stock bose cassette radio and how to set it up with all its features, but it does not go in depth with the connectors behind the stock radio and the wiring associated with it :<
In general you just match the colors, good example: Red on both is ACC +12v. So just match up the ones that are obvious, that should cover 90% of the wires.
Now your left to figure out which ones are different. Example: Illumination is orange on the harness but blue on radio - the function is the same so you connect those to each other.
You don't have to connect some wires if you don't have those functions/features (just tape them off, you don't want any wires exposed or they might short out). For example: no amp means the Blue/White wire is not needed and no power antenna means no Orange/Black.
Lastly you have some wires that need to routed to special places in the car. These are the reverse wire and parking brake wires, which are needed to show the correct image on the screen. Thus when you put the car in reverse a backup camera will display (provided you have one wired up) and the unit will play DVDs when the parking brake is on.
The only one that makes no sense to me is Orange (Steering key+) on the radio, maybe its for cars with volume control on the steering wheel? Also it has TWO Blue/White cables? Blue/White is normally the amp turn on signal.
You'll have to search this site to find the best places for the reverse and parking brake, I'm only running a single DIN unit so never had to locate those connection myself.
