Default All kicker setup

My installer is suggesting that i go with an all Kicker setup.

1. 6.5 components in front
2. 6.75 midbass in rears
3. 10" sub in custom box behind the driver stock location.
4. 5-ch amp with one suped up channel to power sub, something mosfet class D
5. Pioneer 7000dvd HU

Pardon my ignorance but for $2200

Is this good? Any better alternatives? Thanks

Please help!

seems fair to me, if that includes installation....

I would make sure that I know exactly what you are getting as far as install goes...like the type of wire, fused distribution blocks, circuit breakers, sub box is fiberglass or wood, trim pieces...ask for where things are going to be put.

Also, no need to have howling midbasses behind your head, and don't put any high-dolalr speakers there, save that cash for bettter component 6.5's up front with a nice tweeter package.

Overall, it looks like a fair deal, as long as they don't cut corners and do a nice job trimming it out.

Thanks onecoolee!

I was just after clean tight accurate sound. I was not happy with the HU so I bit the bullet and went with:

1. Pioneer NAV
2. 6500DVD slide out lcd
3. 6 disc DVD changer
4. Rear view camera w/ infrared.
5. Shock sensor for stock alarm

Plus the audio setup above for $5500 out the door.

The box will be fiberglass. Which is better..or more expensive?

I just really really hope that everything turns out well. The installer says that this setup will be kick *** but since I have not heard anyone who uses KICKER speakers, I am scared...really scared.

Thanks
