Opinions on this audio setup?
Hey...Just got my Z recently, and I'd like to say thanks to everyone for their great posts. This site really is kickass.
I just got back from Sound Advice (Owned by Tweeter) and got an estimate on a system I'm considering. They are extremely pricey, but I know they do a good job. Considering the speakers I'm looking at are about half price on eBay, and the headunit is $80 less, I think I'll buy online and have them install it. Of course the salesguy said I could get it cheaper online, but if there's any problems I would be SOL. Do you guys think it's worth it to buy online for MUCH cheaper and take that risk? I'm thinking it's worth it.
Well, here is my proposed setup:
NEW Alpine 9807 MP3 headunit
NEW MB Quart RCE 216 6 1/2 separates (or PCE 216 not sure yet)
OLD JL 12W0 (from old car)
OLD Phoenix Gold XS4300 (from old car)
OLD Punch 40ix (from old car)
Now depending on my price at this point, I can add Boston NX67's for the rears. If I do, I'll have to decide on either running the Phoenix bridged to the fronts and run the headunit amp to the rears, or use the Phoenix for all speakers (of course the punch is for the sub).
Also, does anyone know what kind of kit I need to buy to put in the Alpine in case they don't have one?
Well, I guess that's it. Thanks for reading through this (if anyone actually made it through).
Any and all suggestions would really be appreciated.
Thanks!

Dump the RF amp and the JLW 10.
I would upgrade to at least a 10W3 and a mono RF amp with a little higher wattage.
Most stereo companies charge more for install if you do not buy from them. And all will not warranty it.
If its a hundred or so, I would buy from the stereo shop.
