Default Trunk corner sub vs stock location

Hi guys,

I"m considering two locations in my car to put a 10" sub - in the stock location or in the trunk corner liker this:

I'm looking for clarity in sound and seems like the trunk sub will sound better. My question is subjective - percentage wise how much better is it than the stock location.

I see mixed posts about clarity from the stock location - some like it some don't. Is the corner sub worth losing the little trunk space/stealthiness?

Thanks.

precisely 26.3% better.

Its the proper choice by a large margin to move the sub away from you.

The onyl time that stock location cubby box is a good idea is if you have a convertible.

I lost my spare and went w a spare tire well box for a flat 13 JL.. no lost space at all.
