Amp: Kenwood KAC-729S (already have from last car)
Sub: Pioneer TS-W259S4
Dash Kit: Metra 99-7402 Single DIN or Double DIN Installation Kit for 2003-2005 Nissan 350Z
Radio Harness adapter:
Scosche NN03B Car Stereo Connector for 1995-Up Nissan"><i><span style=Scosche NN03B Car Stereo Connector for 1995-Up Nissan" /> Scosche NN03B Car Stereo Connector for 1995-Up Nissan">Scosche NN03B Car Stereo Connector for 1995-Up Nissan

I have the bose radio but will not be using the sub or amp will this wiring kit above work, whats the difference with the harnesses?

If you are using any of the bose speakers, I'm pretty sure you need the other wiring harness that has the 2 sets of RCAs. The front speakers have an amp powering them just as the rear speakers have an amp powering them. I used the Metra 70-7551 harness. From what I've read, there won't be any sound if you use the other harness.

Question Metra 70-7551 harness

So as stated I ordered the Metra 70-7551 harness and will be removing the stock sub and sub amp I am trying to make sure my train of thought is correct hope someone can get my head wrapped around this.

Can anyone who has installed a Metra 70-7551 harness verify for me that this is the plug for the Bose sub and amp. (photo below)

Since I am installing my own amp and sub I do not feel this will be needed can anyone verify?

As long as you don't plan on using the rear speakers, yes those are the rear amp connectors. They are both the sub and the rear speakers. You may be able to not use that entire connector. I think the ground and remote lines on the other connector are for the front, but I'm not 100% sure on that since I'm using all of the Bose speakers at the moment. Trial and error will tell you quickly.

Well thank you for the advice! I'll solder it in once I get my parking brake override relay, as it works also off the amp power switch.

Talked to metra - answered
