Default Navi unit hitting shifter???

Im just wondering if anyone here has experienced this. I bought a pioneer avic z140bh navigation unit and just installed it. When i try to eject a cd the face folds completely horizontal and actually hits the shifter(automatic) and if i dont put it in reverse or neutral wont open all the way. This unit has the biggest possible screen i think you can put in the dash (7 inches) so maybe thats why it hits???

Its not a huge deal for me since i rarely use my cd's, but just seems extremely odd to have this kind of problem. Even more surprised I didnt see a single person complain about this in any review.

Well, it is a universal double-din, not specifically made for Z s. I'm sure many cars don't have the same problem as us.
