Proud new 350z owner, needs better system
Just bought myself a 04 350z a couple weeks back and since day 1 I have been scoping out a new system for it, I have done alot of reading on here but could still use a bit of advice. I have a budget of $3000-$4000 not including wiring or HU but can go over that if I need to will just save a bit more.
So far I have chosen to put my subs in the wicked cas glove box sub boxes, now I know most of you don't like them but this is my new daily driver and I need what little trunk space I got. I'll also be getting the door pods and most likely send my a pillars in to get some tweeter mounts done as I am horrible at DIY projects like that haha.
I'm looking to do more of a sq build, so far all I I've really chosen is the front components, focal K2p components. The sub I was thinking of the JL 13tw5 or a JL 10w3v3, which would be the better choice for subs? I do plan on putting rear speakers in even tho most of you say not to as I find myself watching alot of movies in my current truck while I wait for one thing or another, whats a good option? Would a component set sound better or should I just use coaxial?
Last Would be amps, my truck has a full alpine system and I like the Pdx amps, small and compact so was thinking of using those again for this system assuming they are a good quality amp and will work with the 3ohm 13tw5, if it won't work with that sub I'm open to suggestions. Thanks in advance for any replies/suggestions
