Hi all,
Just wondering if you guys know if the following product exists:
A flip out LCD display with a built in XM tuner. Other components that I would like include:
-CD Player built in (if not it obviously will have CD Changer compatability)
-DVD Player (not so important)
-Optional Navigation component available *** - this is actually pretty important to me.
Perhaps someone coming from CES might've seen something like this on the horizon?
Thanks in advance

This is all that is available. You will also need an XM tuner.
Alpine did introduce the first HU with built-in XM, however, no LCD screen yet.
BTW, XM will be 100% commercial-free music on Feb 1, 2004.

Reason why I ask this question is because here's the system I want to build out:
Phase 1. This Month!
*Stock h/u
PPI 4x80 Main Amp
MB Quart or Infinity Fronts
Something cheap rears (prolly MbQ low-cost coax)
Phase 2. Feb/March
PPI or JL sub amp (not sure)
Single 10" w/fiberglass housing
dynamat
AudioControl x-over & eq.
Phase 3. summertime?
Headunit (which must have XM b/c I love my delphi xm (currently in nav slot)).
Preferably nav capable w/ built in cd & additional aux input for dvd later.
I know most people think I'm nuts for not going with HU first, but if I run a hi/low adaptor it should be fine for a set of mains off the stock unit, and then when I put the sub in I'll run a full AudioControl setup for control & tuning.
Does this sound like a good setup (pun intended)?
Thanks for the help folks.

I have the Kenwood 911, it has the 6.5" flip out screen, Sirius ready, built in TV tuner, CD and DVD player. The Kenwood is also Dolby 5.1 capable if you buy the processor. If you are not in a hurry then Kenwood will have the new 915 out which will be a 7" screen and the Dolby 5.1 processor is built in. I believe it should be out in February or March.
