Default 10" Free Air Question

For those of you who put a 10" free air in the Booz location, what kind did you get? I'm looking to put either a JL or Kicker free air in there. Also, how did it sound? I'm not looking for brain rattling bass anymore, just a nice kick for rock music and to take the strain off of my mids and highs.

Thanks

I used a Phoenix Gold 10" free air sub. It is ok, but I have a Kicker Comp VR in a box in the hatch area that rocks. You'll get decent bass, but nothing mind blowing. Dynamat the heck out of that area to reduce the rattle because you'll get them.

My sub isn't even installed in the sub location, but the panel immediately above that--it covers the rear 6.5s-- rattles like hell, but only on my favorite songs. I would imagine a sub installed right in that area would greatly contribute to the rattles in that area.

I have a JL10IB4 Free-Air installed in the stock sub location. It doesn't hit like crazy but definately added the bass that the stock setup was lacking.
