Unhappy A/C and Speaker problems

Hi all, I have a 2006 base with 47k miles. I've noticed that my air conditioning only works sometimes (randomly). I turn the AC button, the light turns on, but nothing blows out of it, not even hot air. In addition my rear speakers only work sometimes, its a hit and miss for both. Anyone have any thoughts of what I should check?!? I'm no good with wiring and taking things apart. Please help!!! BTW, I purchased the car with a Pioneer avic-Z1 which may have something to do with it. THANKS!

check your connections for your radio. if the previous owner cut and spliced into the factory harness you could have a bad connection causing a problem. i recomend soldering and shrink wrap all cut connections.
