I just installed a clifford alarm in my car and also installed the remote auto window roll up/down. everytime I opened the door, instead of the windows vented a bit.. it goes all the way down. When I closed the door it doesn't roll back up.
anyone know how to fix this probelm? any tip is greatly appreciated

there's a website for installers, you can post your question there. There was some good tips for 350Z wiring awhile back, but some installer there probably can answer your problem.

I haven't had my alarm put in yet, but here is my problem...

I have a 2004 350z and just bought the AutoPage 850LCD - it has all the features for an alarm. . . the only thing is that the installer has it all wired but has not put it in the car yet becuase he knew about this window problem we have. . . . he said something about me needing a relay timer?

Would anyone be able to help me find what i need? I bought a DEI window module to go with the alarm for the windows, but found out that the module won't work. . . I need something to take care of these windows!

Hope someone can help!

-Chris

(I took a look at the website above and just got lost in all of the tech talk. . i'm just trying to find out where I can buy this generic part from to take care of the windows)

i think my installer used a cheap window rollup module and i have no problems, but mine just rolls up on arm. acts like normal when door is opened, goes down 1/4 inch.

Yeah, that's what my installer said the module would do. . . however, I am wanting to program one of the aux functions to be able to roll the window up and down on command (might as well, eh? hehe)

I placed an order for a Pulse Relay Timer from DEI, hopefully this will do the trick.
