Hey guys I just wanted to know where you guys tapped in the VSS wire on the Z? I have an 07 Base Z if that matters. Is the VSS necessary since there is a GPS antenna?

The VSS wire is in the 16 pin plug connected to the unified meter, It's a white wire, You cannot miss it. Here's a clear pic;
