i heard something like pull handbreak till just ONE click and it should work.
handbreak doesnt engage with only few clicks but the NAV system "thinks" that the car is in stop position.
i cant remember if this was only for aftermarket stuff or if it works with nissan nav system.
try it

Atually it has a mph sensor. I believe you can't input info into the nav if you are going anything faster than 5 mph. Do a quick search on this topic. I know i recently read about some1 who just snipped and grounded one of the wires on the nav to override this.

A simply way to fix it would be to wire your own power and remote turn on to the monitor. Might take some work to hash out the wiring harness for the correct wires. Any reputable car audio shop would probably be able to do this for you.

There is an input to the NAV unit from the car that indicates the vehicle speed. You interupt this circuit and wire in a toggle switch. No input = 0 mph. Check out this thread

I'll have it done on my car when it comes. It's due in 22 more days.
