Hello, guys

Is there any metal, silver, or aluminum radio installation kit out there so when you install a HU, the surrounding is not black as in most radio kits.

I want to install the Sony WX7700 and put a silver/aluminum frame around so it could make it look perfect and match all the trims inside. I don't think the regular black installation kits look that good.

Any thoughts on how I can achieve this? Or if you have one, can you please post a picture maybe or tell me how you did it.

I'll PM him to see what he used. Anybody else with the silver trim around HU?

It adds a lot, I think, and keeps the factory look which to me is important.

does anybody know if this is a production piece or is it custom? where could you get a custom piece like this made?

 

Hey, those Z plates are cool, but I'd rather have the Sony HU with a silver trim like Skidazzle's.

I've PM him, but I've gotten no reply.

I'm thinking maybe you can tell your intaller to spray paint the installation kit with silver paint before installing the HU.

If anybody has more suggestions, please post.
