Which fuses are tied to the ignition switch?
I just hardwired my radar detector into the fuse panel by the clutch pedal. Having the secondary controls is as amazing as I thought, except the radar detector stays on when I turn the car off.
I wired it into the audio fuse location in the DIY below. Is there a different fuse location I could wire into that would turn the radar detector off when I turn the car off? Or is there another way to do this?

(No, I'm not interested in the mirror detector hardwire as I did this for the secondary controls) Thanks in advance!

To answer my question for future readers wondering the same thing; use one of the "blower" fuse spots. They are tied to the ignition switch rather than the battery, (which is always on) like the audio apparently is. It works perfectly!
