Question Aux in (GROM) - question

Hello guys,

Does anyone have experience with this? http://www.gromaudio.com/store/usb_a...interface.html

Now, few questions:

1. How is this product rated, is it reliable?
2. It says that it's compatible with "double DIN with CD/CHG button" -- I'm not exactly sure what this means? This is what my current stereo looks like :

3. I'm getting it installed professional and want it in the cubby above the stereo. How exactly would they do that - do they drill a hole there to get the wires across? I want to maintain as much factory "setup" as possible with the addition of this / (or another aux product). Really, all I need is everything the same way with AUX input -- I don't care if it displays songs there, can change with steering or not, etc.

Your help is always appreciated, thanks a lot guys!

Do you really like your factory radio that much?

No not really, but my budget is limited. And I feel that a custom stereo won't "fit" as perfectly as the factory one....I've been looking through the audio video section here and can't really find anything that fits as nicely as factory. Right?

Alright, can you guide me to a starting point? I've been searching the threads here for a couple hours, but could not get much information on a list of stereos. I did see a few touch ones, and although they are nice and fancy, they are also a bit expensive and perhaps out of my budget for now.

Thanks

You can get plenty of single din units for less than $100. Practically all of them have advanced options for ipods, usb support, and an aux input.

It's less money than you're going to spend on some adapter to integrate with your factory unit.
