Sub not working, sound quality not great!
I've just fitted a new headset, replacing another aftermarket unit. Its all wired up correctly at the head unit end. But the sub behind the seat doesn't work and the sound quality is poor, the vocals are like there in a cave.
My question is there a fuse for the amp behind the seat and where is it located, and what else do you think it could be! The settings on the unit its self have been played with but its well off sounding right.
Everything is original Bose bar the head unit
Thanks for any help in advance

It sounds like a cave because your amp is probably not set to low pass for the cross over. Its probably trying to play it like a speaker and not sub, allowing mid and high end sounds from it.
Check the head unit and make sure its on Low pass for the sub out settings.
