I'm having trouble figuring out if any of the GPS systems that I want will fit. I know that almost all of them will fit where my stereo is but I want to put it where the touring has its GPS system. I mostly want to do this so that I can hide it so it will be less likely for someone to try and break in and steal it. My car is a 2003 enthusiast. If anyone knows of any good cheap GPS systems that will fit there please let me know. I think I measured the total space to be 7" diagonally. It might be able to fit a larger GPS if they cut out a bigger space for it but it probably wouldn't add much room still.

This is the kind of gps I was looking at, the specs look like the overall piece is bigger then that area I want to put it on the upper dash. I think the dimensions were like 10x9x6.8 or something like that. Is there any way to fit this GPS in the upper part of the dash?

Not enough depth...you can install a tablet or a unit like the magellan 1700.
