that spot is actually where the 370z's bose system has the sub installed
I wonder if you could fit that sub in the 350z, wouldn't mind it if it sounds anything like the one in my dad's old FX35

I'm a 350 guy. Haven't done much research on the 370. So are you saying the factory Bose sub is in the spare tire well just like mine in my 350?

they're using a spare tire sub box similar to the one on the FX35

Oh wow, that's interesting!
Side note, I'd love to expand my system by adding another FI 12. I have a new one sitting in my closet. But I'd need an alternator upgrade and another good 1000watts. Not sure if I'm up to spend that kind of money. I think my car would probably fall apart if I did...
