Has anyone ever own the viper responder lc3 5706 2 way remote start and security system for there 350z. Was looking at getting one for my 08 350z which has a 6 speed transmission. But i was not sure if there is anything else would i need to get besides what comes in the box for this security system.

 

I got one installed the other day ( same model as you stated ). The shop installed an Xpresskit DBALL2 Bypass Interface Model which costed me another $90.

 

and i will laugh the one time you leave it in gear and start it

 

I did not do this for exactly the reason Trav states.

 

So I thought my car was stolen but instead I auto started it in first gear and it drove away drone style....

That or left in neutral on a hill and my ebrake failed and my car rolled away...

Its a dumb idea, but people do dumb things... Its human nature.... Lazy and dumb
