Default 2-12" sub box project...a few pics

Today I decided to make a 2-12" box. I figured I would shoot some pics along the way. The pics are of the templates. Once I have the templates they are loaded into the computor.

The plan was to fit a design between the strut bar and rear speaker area and leave some storage space.

Box placement in this area

Cutting area at my shop...it was clean 2 days ago

Bottom plate...I always start with the bottom plate and work my way up

Bottom plate cut

This was a tough design. I've been thinking of how to do this box for a long time. I'm pretty happy with it....8.5" mounting depth & 2.00ft^3

Have a great night!

Mike

Looks good. Im still wainting on a one 12" enclosure that will go under the strut bar and protrude out enough to fit one 12. Ive only seen one member here with one. It was on a lemans sunset.

Same here. Any chance of making that for a single sub - cutting off one side to make it 1.3 cubes or so?

I can make this box for 1-12", 2-12", or 2-10's. For the 1-12" we would just reduce the airspace using dividers inside the box.

Thanks Mike

in the fourth pic up from the last, is there any way to make the top of the box curve with the strut bar?

I hate that you are doing this now while I am halfway through an inferior box for two 10's... and right after the eD 13Ov.2 sale too. You're killin me. Awesome box.
