Default Question Regarding the Satnav Cover

Hi all

a few hours fresh 350z owner here (my treat to my self)

I had a question on the Satnav on the car regarding the cover.

I was reading here : http://www.courtesyparts.com/pdf/200...-350Z-Navi.pdf

Page - 4-2

it says :

HOW TO CLOSE THE LC DISPLAY
The liquid crystal display closes when:
the ignition key is turned to OFF position.
the button on the cover of the liquid crystal
display is pressed with the ignition key in
ON or ACC position.
The voice guidance cannot be heard when the
cover is closed.

Does that mean it should be closing automatically? or are they reffering to just the display and the cover is all done manually..

I know very newby question, just dont want to break it on the first day by forcing it. (its already got to go back as the CD player keeps saying "Disc Check" when a disc is inserted.. but that will be handled by the garage)

cheers

look at 4-3, it says that you should not manually open or close it... so to me that says that it does open and close automatically

congrats on your purchase
