Default BOSE Stock amp

Does anyone know the specs for Bose stereo amp?
I did a serious install in my 350Z but I don't want to mount another amp for rear fill. I want to swap rear bose speakers with something else because they rattle and distort at rather low volume. I want to hook up some 165mm speakers @4ohm but I don't know how much power and what Ohm stock amp have. Did anyone swap speakers on stock amp?

I believe the output is 2ohms, so do a bit of research before laying out money. Mb go to Google and search
'' my350z.com +Bose amp''. Should take you right there.

Bose is really hush hush about their stuff.

If I had the harness to plug all my bose stuff together on the bench I would do some testing on it to get the specs for you. But it would require far too much work to do and I'm not pulling the stereo out of my car to put the bose back in it to test.

If someone has the pigtails for the amp and head unit I would be be glad to hook it up.

Far too much work. I already have removed the speakers. Maybe I'll connect them to my home amp and see. However I doubt they'll hold 4OHM

I'll check the speakers when I get home from work but I wont be able to give you power ratings for the factory amp.

Gonna step out on a limb here, and say their specs will say
40- 20k hz, give or take a few.
That's the spectrum of human hearing, as you know. Any audio mnftr will list this.

What are you up to, why is this important to you?

Edit, that is for speakers.

For the amp I look at
rms output
peak output
and total harmonic distortion. And they all lie.

I checked them last night. The front speakers were 2.0 ohm and the rears were 1.8 ohm.

So JHC was right, bose runs 2 ohm setups.

Human hearing spectrum is 20hz-20khz not 40hz-20khz But that's not the point. I have to know the response range of rear speakers to know how will it blend with new system and where are the weak and strong points of these speakers. You probably know that woofers go typically 80hz - 3khz.

my woofer plays lower than 80 hz , its covering 25 hz - 80 hz

80 hz is where I am crossed over at , and my woofer is not playing above 80 hz

my mid driver picks up at 80 hz + , where the woofer stops

You're not talking about woofer, you're talking about SUBwoofer
I did a closed enclosure in stock woofer place with JL 10W3. I wish I could put there my JL 12W6 but there's no possibility for that without sacrificing whole rear storage space
