I currently have an Alpine INA-W900BT and it works ok, worked a lot better with the 30 pin iphone plug. I am thinking of changing it to something new, but not sure what's pretty good these days? Not looking to spend a ton as I don't drive the car much and don't need many features. Just need IOS compatibility for Iphone 6 and 6S, google maps(thru phone) if possible, and maybe pandora.

Any suggestions for something good that works pretty seamlessly?

I was looking at:
Alpine Ilx-007, but not sure as I dont like how the current Alpine playlist disappears when you select a song and you need to navigate back through it all over again to select another.

Kenwood, as I have an old kenwood ddx712 in my camry and like how the playlist doesn't disappear. I would still be using it in my G though it is not compatible with lightning adapters.

Pioneer Appradio 3, if it is compatible with the lightning cable and newer IOS

If all else fails, maybe just a more basic alpine unit.

Any feedback on these units would be helpful. Or any other suggestions as well.

Go with the Pioneer 4100Nex. It's a little more expensive than the Alpine, but it has a lot more inputs.

 

thanks I'll take a look into it. I don't need much though as long as the playlist functionality is good and no problems with newer IOS

 

Not sure if you are still looking, but I just put in the Pioneer AppRadio 4 and absolutely love it!

 

Thanks for the info! I was looking at the appradio 4.. But not sure im willing to spend that much on a stereo for my 03 G at this point..
