my amp rack is attached to two metal bars (not really bars just pieces of sheet metal sorta). they come down from the roof of the large area and each have a threaded opening for a bolt. so i bent two pieces of sheet metal to attach to there and then curve around and attach to the bottom of my amp rack holding it in place. hardest part of doing this was being able to get the bolts in after putting in the amp rack with the amps mounted because it's tricky to get your arm around the amps and to where you have to tighten the bolt.

Just wanna thank you all for the amp install advice. I finally got my system setup over the weekend!

The install is not as pretty as you guys', but it'll do.

I made a mounting platform so I can slide the rack in and out easily for servicing and tuning.

Here it is before sliding the rack in. Notice I mounted the platform to the front and the back just as you guys taught me!

Here it is with it installed

Thanks again guys!
