Default 350z stock radio wiring

I was gonna let my friend install a new touch screen on my car but he was taking it out he messed up the wires an they fell out of the plastic piece took it to a shop an they told me they would have rewire the whole car an would take about 4 hours I do have the boss an nav do I really have to rewire the whole car or I just buy a new wiring for those to pieces? Or like a new wiring harness or somthing idk I'm lost. Thanks for the help

Looks like there's just an adapter kit attached to the original harness - which is the proper way to do an install. Unplug it, buy your new head unit with the appropriate adapter harness and plug it all in. If you're unsure this is correct, contact Crutchfield, buy just the kit first, plug it into the original harness, and go from there.

You can double check your wiring against the factory's with a copy of the Service Manual. You can download one here: http://www.nicoclub.com/archives/use...-database.html. Check the av.pdf section.

Having to "rewire the whole car" sounds fishy as hell. I would not go back to that place.

Just buy the harness adapter for your year car, plug in and troubleshoot from there.
