So i got my car back from 3 days at the body shop due to some idiot who in a parking lot scraped into the side of my car costing me $900 of myself paying (person didnt leave any note)....anyways after getting the car back my viper 690xv alarm (with LCD remote) is being weird. I can arm it and unarm it but like 5-10 mins after going away from the car when i come back to it to unarm it or arm it the car doesnt recognize the remote. Its like the only way i can get around it is to take out the battery and put it back in and then arm it and the unarm it....weird...and the LCD display show my battery in the remote is full......anyone ever have this prob or know whats goin oN??!?!?
I can't remember, but if the brain has a reset and you know where it's located, try and do that.....otherwise take it to where you installed, and just play dumb like it happened for no reason.
You have a one year warranty on the remote and lifetime on the alarm.
I assume you had it less than a year. Take it back, There have been some problems with the remotes. They should swap it out with no questions asked.
Also, a quick fix would be to change the battery, but I doubt thats the problem.
Who installed the alarm?

^^^ Oh yeah, that's right...I think there may have even been a recall?
Make sure they give you the new remote...it's blue and it's smaller. It's from the new 691xv and 791xv.....comes with a belt clip too lol.
