Default Nav Delete - will the 06-08 cubby fit in my 2004 dash?

I want to get rid of the useless factory nav system and gain some storage space. The 06-08 cubby/lid is pretty easy to find on ebay, will it fit in my 2004 dashboard if I remove the existing nav?
