Hi Everyone,
I’m looking to upgrade my audio set-up and came across the Brainiac MK2. Before I jump in feet first and start cutting my dash has anyone installed one of these in there Z? What are the pros and cons? Is the software reliable? I appreciate any input positive or negative. Feel free to suggest other viable options.

I don't recall many threads on here (didn't look that hard) but what I saw, it's been done and there are install kits available.
Do a Google site search here or general one for vids and such.

Unfortunately there’s not a lot of vids on this topic. I’m looking for real world feedback with someone that has lived with this product for over a year. Example: does the tablet get extremely hot in the summer? How does the Apple CarPlay preform? Do you lose your ability to have a radio with this product?
I think it's because most of us that get these cars like the "analog" nature of it.
I don't like digital cluster or touch only tablet style stuff on the dash for example, and those will make me not buy a certain car.
I'm old school I guess.
