Anyone try an Infinity Kappa Perfect 10 VQ in the stock sub location?
This was just about the only free-air 10" sub that I could find to put behind the seat. Apparently, JL has quit making theirs. Anyone have any experience with it?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Sorry no one answered you yet.
Why not try to find a JL free air sub on ebay? I hear that free air subs don't sound as good. I have a 12" sub under the strut tower, and mounted the amps behind the driver seat.
There is someone on this site that built a box for the stock location. You have to do a little work though. There is a little metal piece that you have to saw off. If you want to go the easy route, you can either get a basslink or something similar by kenwood (don't remember what it's called).
What kind of budget are you working with? If you want, you can PM me and I will try to answer any specific questions. I'm not an expert but I had to do lots of research when I did my stereo.
