Smile Kenwood DDX 7015 DVD Double Din Installed

I actually had my deck about a week ago, hadn't had time to get it installed, as of Yesterday that was taken care of.

I'll get pictures uploaded later this morning.

The crew at Mobile Connection, san fernando, California
818-838-4727 took care of everything, as they always have
for me for years.

If you like something from them, let me know and I may be able to help you somewhat. They are good people, good friends of mine, and they do the job right.

They rest of my equipment is arriving piece by piece (Still to do/go:
Keg, Sirus, NAV, Amps, custom box)

The big hold up now (after the head unit) is going to be the new Kenwood Amplifiers, we're hoping by the end of the month.

I had Xtant planned, but with the new features coming from Kenwood made it nearly impossible to resist.

More to come.... I need to update my tag lines...

It doesn't have as much to do with Kenwood as it does with the car manufactuers not having a spec or a standard to allow after market equipment to build/design for.

That's why there are companies out there making kits for after market head units and accessories.

Here is version 1 of the trim plate, we're still playing with it as my overall installation is just barely in process, I'll update as we go along.

Default another pic

I did a couple quick and dirty shots, there was some funky sun light, that I couldn't do anything about at the time. I will get better pics later today.

I also have some previous system pics, that I'm looking for that will be similar to the completed one this time.

Thanks, that's not bad looking at all. Is that the trim piece that comes with the install kit? Or is it custom made?

Oh, I like your shifter too.

The trim piece comes with the kit, but it has been modified.

Thanks, the shifter note, it's cool until that shiny part on top, has been sitting in the sun/heat for a while and you place your palm on it... Did that once...

Default There are (were) 2 DDX 7015 Units available at Mobile Connection

Yesterday afternoon.

If you "really" want one of these, now is the time to get it.

You can get this for $1300.00, and you are looking at installation of about $130/$150 period.

There has been some news about places charging for "harneses" and other special items, that is BS!

Mobile Connection
818-838-4727

Ask for Kevin, tell'm Joe from my350z referred you.

He'll take care of you and it'll be done right.

The drive would be worth it, wouldn't it? And on the way back you'd have new & improved entertainment?

Default My car's in for the system installation...

It's going to be a week or so, depending on how much we "play" with the overal design.

Going in:

Sirius Radio,
Kenwood Touch Screen Nav
20GB Mp3 hard drive
MB-quarts
2 Excelon Amplifiers maybe 3 depending on overall sound/loudness 2 10's, custom box, (goodbye spare).
Nokia 9290 Hands Free Kit
Video Camera(s)

What is sweet about the new kenwood excelon amps is that they are Data controlled, all features can be tuned/adjusted from the head unit and you can get some information back from the amps as well.

I'm slammed with work right now so I don't know how much/how soon I'll get in here.

We'll see

You may be able to check the car out during the installation if you are in the area.

It can be interesting to see the entire interior of the Z stripped out and dash exposed, etc..etc..

There have been a few sales from the board, on behalf of Mobile Connection, I wanted to thank you guys for the business

I hope to see you guys around.
