Bose amp problems???

Anyone having Bose amp problems? Mine is acting strange. Seems to fade in and out. I've only had my Z for a week.

It's an engineering disaster. Try turning off the Audio Pilot.

How do I turn off the audio pilot? can I connect an aftermarket amp to the stock head unit?

Maybe it's that mic under the steering wheel dash? I put a resistor in there to stop the automatic volume adjusting.
