Default Can you replace the factory 10 inch sub?

I've searched some, but I'm on dail up and I got tired of looking. My question is I'd like to just replace the factory sub with another sub and keep all the Bose system intact. Has anyone done this with good results and what sub did you use?
Thanks Mike

Actually what I'm wanting to do is just replace the 10 with a aftermarket sub and not add a amp or anything. Nice install though.
Thanks Mike
