I'm trying to hardwire my V1. I know which 15 amp fuse feeds the Cig adapter. My V1 came with the little blue clip to pinch a wire, but what wire? Anyone have a pic from their install?

Please help, I feel like a moron and don't wanna screw anything up.

I used the cig. lighter for mine. It will automatically go on when you turn the key and go off when you turn it back.

 

Yeah, I know which fuse that is, but of the bank of wires coming out of above the fuse box, which one is it(by color).

Also, near the fuse box, what is a good ground screw.

 

Don't know. I just plugged the wire into the fuse space itself then plugged the fuse in on top of the wire. There aren't many good grounds under there nearby. I just turned on the unit and kept touching the ground wire to things until it beeped. There is a silver/brass colored nut on some kind of electronic box under there that I used. I'm not sure what it is but it has worked perfectly for a year and a half.
