Default Opinions on the new Pioneer AVIC-N1

I purchased a new Pioneer AVIC-N1 in-car navigation system with A/V entertainment, vehicle dynamics and memory navigation. It's not installed yet but my question is can you still see the flip-up screen with the top down on a roadster. The unit is insane but what good is it if you can't see it when the top is down. Does anyone have an aftermarket flip-up screen in their roadster and can give me the pros and cons. thanks.
