i have read over and over who all the major players are in the "super sub" category, but have not read about the distinctions between them.
Question 1:
what will be the best 10" SQL sub sealed under the strut and what are the differences?
the choices are obviously between:
RE XXX/Adire Brahma/Orion H2/JL W7,
Question 2:
what is the minium amount of watts any of these subs need to sound close to their optimum, i wasn't planning on going over a 1000.1 amp, i have heard JLs are the best because they are Volt controlled, they put out the same wattage at 11v or 14.4v.
Thanks for the input.

Your post and your subs listed are haphazord at best... First off, If I were looking at the Resonant Engineering XXX, Adire Brahma, Orion h2 or JL W7, I'd also through into that at minimum an Image Dynamic IDMAX 10, Mephis MoJo, or Kicker Solobaric L7s.
What's going to sound best is really going to depend on how you build the box, the size of the enclosure, and the quality of enclosure. The final ingredient will be how well you match those to a proper amp.
I'd have to say though out of the choices you listed, the Resonant Engineering and Adire would probably the best all around subs although either of which I'd skip over for an IDMAX or Solobaric.
For any of the subs listed, 1k watts would do well
.
Once again, for every person there will be a different answer so make your own choice and go with it. Your research lead you to those 4 subs and my research leads me to a few of those and the others listed...
