Im about to get a 5 channel amp, and my HU has the preouts for the front, rear and Sub. So do I just need to run RCA cables from the Amp to the HU, or will I still need to run speaker wire from the amp to the speakers? I didn't know if the HU handled it all through the RCA jacks or not.

Does anyone have any pics of exactly how to wire amps? thanks

 

Here's my best text description.

HU -> rcas -> Amp -> speaker wires -> speakers

You can actually run speaker wires back up behind the hu and then out to the speakers if you want but you have run speaker wires from the amp to the speakers some way.
