Default Alpine7995

Alpine 7995.with a Kenwood FM modulator to control my Kenwood Keg Mp3 Player. I liked the 7995 for the silver trim to match the interior.

Kenwood Keg has a 20GB harddrive with 2400+ songs.

Maybe Metra has changed their kit. I purchased my Metra kit over a year ago, and it was made of black ABS plastic. I had to paint it to match the center console gray.

I just got a Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X579 but I am waiting for my Basslink to come in before I get it installed. Have any of you guys had good experiences with the eXcelon line? The reveiws were very positive and the price was right, I would just like some reputable real world tesitmonials.

I have the exact same Kenwood Excelon Z28 HU and I'm using the Metra dash kit. Mine fits perfectly! I had to do a double take when I saw your picture because I've never seen anyone else with this HU...and I have a touchscreen VGA Xenarc LCD above mine connected to a laptop under the passenger seat, etc.

Anyway, why didn't your Kenwood fit? Are you sure you installed it correctly?
