Exclamation Door Speaker wires

I look at the MOD one of you did, so I pulled the plug from the door to the cabin and didnt see any room to fit wires. I rather not fiddle with the airbag wires etc...

I want to use the stock wires.
I pulled stock speakers out, and put in new ones..
I wired the Crossover (main wire) to the stock speaker wire Blue and Red.

My car had a basic cd system, not a Bose.

My question is this, in the cabin where are these door speaker wires :\ color location? I thought for a sec that maybe the car had an amp, but its a stock stereo.

Am I missing the boat here, maybe those red and blue wires are just a "stock" cross over wire?

I am replacing stock with the Alpine Type R 167s

Thanks

How come you need the wires inside the car? You could always get them from the back of the radio...

I took out the stock radio, put in a Alpine Deck, Also added 3 RCA cables to control the Alpine 450 V12 Amp. So I am basicly replacing the entire system with new gear.

I did call my brother who gave me a log on to a dealers website for the wiring diagram for the 2004 350Z

If equipped, the BOSE amplifier is on the driver side of the trunk.

uhhh i might be confused but the blue and red wires for the speakers go to the back of the radio. you've got a new deck so im assuming youve got a wiring harness.

so...for you to connect the new speakers to the amp you gotta get the speaker wire running from the amp to the speakers instead of the deck to the speakers. you can do that by cutting the blue and red wires by the big plugs by the kick panels (that big white harness that runs the wires into the doors) and running ur speaker wire from where u cut those to the amp. or you can just cut the blue and red wires right behind the radio at the wiring harness to connect all the wires to your new deck. then run the wire from the amp to where u cut at the deck wiring harness.

I would think it's probably better to cut the wires at the harness at the deck because it would make returning to stock much much easier if that ever needed to happen.

Rajiv (is sorry if that explanation is a bitconfusing but he's been studying for finals for the past who knows how many hours and hasn't slept in many more hours than than)

ya I just took the diagram and wired it up, works like a champ.

Installed new speakers using the stock "speaker wire" (one wire each side), I wired it into my Crossover, ran the new wires from the xover to the tweats and the woofer. I used the diagram above to find correct wires under the dash... with no need for a extra Harness. I ran the those wires back to the amp and walla !@!@! it all works
