Default Bypassing the factoty amps. Need help

I have just installed the Alpine IVA-D300 and I have no sound. I used an after market wireing harness to plug into the factory plugs but no sound and everything is wired correct.

I know from experience that when installing a new head unit in a car with factory amps they will need to be bypassed to get sound. Can anyone tell me how to do this so that I can finish this job. THANKS

Run wires from your new head unit to the speaker wires of your speakers. Just tap into the existing speaker wires somwehere after they have passed from the factory amps. Also by tapping into the existing speaker wires after the amps, you don't have to thread new wires through the door jams, etc.

There is a site on the web that gives you the wire diagrams and color codes for the speakers and stereo to help make this easier.

Good luck.
