Default Are kill switches sufficient

in combination with the factory alarm? I don't need all that window roll down by remote or remote start. I figure if someone wants your sugar honey ice tea they'll get it. My main thing is just making sure they can't hotwire it and drive off. I wish there was ECU reflashing like APR does for the Audi/VW. Even if they pull the battery and reconnect it the car won't send fuel to the fuel pump until you put the code in via the cruise control stalk.

The Z will not start without the key in the ignition. It uses a transponder in the key to tell the ECU to start the fuel pump and the ignition. You cannot "hotwire" the car, so a kill switch will not do anyting more than the factory immobilizer.

The factory immobilizer is bypassable if you have the right tools/knowledge.

It should't be relied upon as your sole source of anti theft.

Of course, nothing will prevent someone from taking your baby with a flatbed....
