Hello, guys

I was wondering if any of you know if you can install ANY cd changer to a Nakamichi CD-400?

In other words, can you intall a Pioneer 12 changer (for example) to this unit... even if it's not a Nakamichi changer.

I know the unit supports cd-changer controls, but I'm not sure if it's compatible with other brand changers.

Also, if any of you have it... how is the sound quality?

I think as long as you have the controls you can run any changer.

 

From what I understand most are not compatable with other brands. I know I cannot use my Alpine with pioneer for example. There may be some exceptions if you hook it up through the radio or something but the loss in sound quality is not worth it imo.
