Default My audio system with pics

Ok for what it's worth here's what i've got:
Nakamichi CD-400 deck
Nakamichi MB-70 indash 6 disc changer
McIntosh MC431M (pics taken without glass face plate)
Focal 165K2P component speakers 6 1/2"
Focal Polyglass 27 vi subwoofer- 11"

I will be installing Fatmat in the trunk and making some other changes shortly.

The install is pretty getto compared to what alot of you guys have but the sound quality is good, however, I'm never satisfied and always changing things as my budget allows.

Where did you mount the tweeters on the fron components? I ended up flush mounting them into the door because no where else really seemed good

LOVE your equipment choices (Nakamichi head feeding McIntosh amp). How do you like the Nak head? I owned their in-dash single DIN changer and loved the sound quality, too bad the changer mechanism was not perfect Not the stand alone changer you have, but the all-in-one changer. And let me know how you like the Focal sub. The only thing I would change is door pods or kicks for those Focals.

They are mounted where the stock tweeter use to be. The installer said this is what Focal suggest now as oppossed to being close to the drive like Boston or JL.

The sound is really clean with alot of detail and great imaging but I don't have as much low end slam as I would like. I'm not gonna lie the Mac is a real mother to tune, thats why I will more thane likely change amps soon. I will also look at getting some door pos from Wicked C.A.S. at some point, like this:http://www.wickedcas.com/gallery/v/c...c_012.jpg.html

How much air does that sub have? The Focal subs are not known for high output as much as accurate detailed low end.

Not sure. I just told the salesperson kinda what I wanted and those are the speakers he sold me. The Nak was purchase from an online vendor and I got the McIntosh used of Ebay.
