Default For those with Diamond s600s components

Are the crossovers always suppose to be placed where the amp is or can it be mounted somewhere on the door. Mounting it next to the amp would mean I'd have to run two wires to each door. If you have these speakers how did you set up yours? Im trying to avoid running one more wire in each door but I just can't seem to find good clearance where I can place it. Thanx

It is better to mount the crossovers closer to the actual speakers since you won't need as much wiring that way. I mounted mine inside the door so I did not have to run two sets of wires to the midrange speaker and the tweeter.

where did you mount it by and I'm guessing you screwed it down since they're so heavy?

When you have the door off, you will see that big black ringed grommet ... I screwed it into the door right under that. It was a pretty tight squeeze too. I had a hard time getting the door back on the passenger side. Driver side was not all that bad.
