How much do you want to spend? Do you want to replace all of them?

CDT audio (thezeb.com), diy (morel, scan speak, etc.. try madisound for sourcing) for high end sound and low price. DIY takes a little knowledge but the info is readily available and the results are worth it. Install is the critical issue. if you don't install sound dampening and wire them correctly you are better off farting in a can and calling it Mozart.

I agree. Just a q for you...how do you have lotus speakers (very nice) and JL W0 sub (just okay)? Just asking since you seem a very critical listener.

The sub IMHO is least important speaker in the chain. A good box design and plenty of clean power will compensate for exotic materials , ridiculous xmax's and so forth. Maybe I am just not as critical when it comes to lower frequencies but I have spent time with everything from Brahma's to idmax and I can not tell a big difference at "moderate" sound levels. As sad as it is I think I spent more on my enclosure than my sub.

No doubt. Many people seem to like to spend tons of cash on the sub and nothing on the enclosure. The enclosure will make or break the sub IMO. I have had a pair of W0's and really didn’t think they were too bad actually. I had an eD 15A in a PORTED box in my last car but a ported box in the Z will simply not look very good and take up way too much room. I intend to go sealed in the setup for the Z but will still have to make a custom box. My brother is a finishing carpenter and can build just about anything out of wood, so my boxes are usually very well designed and built

Sorry for the hijack blackmumba...
