is it clairion? someone else? what model are they?

thanks. i'm trying to figure out how bad these speakers are, and if i should replace the speakers or live with them and just add a sub...

 

When you pull the speakers out you will see they are pretty much crap. I would suggest replacing them. It is very tough to tune the harshness out of the tweeters and the mids are worthless. I couldn't tell you about aftermarket speakers off the stock HU because I replaced mine before the speakers. The stock speakers are 32 ohm (I think), so the HU is probably designed to work with them. Why they put this crap in the car I don't know.
