Default Mounting an AMP

I am installing an AMP in my car and I want to put it in the hole where factory Bose sub would go. Can anyone give me suggestions on how to mount an amp in there? I was planning on useing a piece of wood to screw the amp on and then screw the peice of wood to the somewhere in the compartment.

i've done basicaly what you are trying to do.. i used two brackets in the front, attaching them to the mounting holes where the bose sub plate was and at the back, i used two L brakets and attached them to the hanging brackets, very solid mount and used all existing holes, hope this helps, others have done basically the same thing.. if you do make some new holes just be careful drilling into the bottom of that area since the gas tank lies beneath
