ZR-3 OWNERS: Ever been pulled over?

I have the SRX. I have two friends (neighbors) that are policemen. We tested the unit. They swore my unit would not work.
It does work....but it depending on the approach angle. This only makes sense. If your shifter/jammer doesn't aim it's response signal exactly right, you are toast. For slight angles, it worked great. We did not test the rear sensor....only the two fronts.
The SRX is so small (I've attached it ABOVE the rear view mirror) and it comes with a remote speaker and an optional LED, that it is almost totally stealth.
The protection that it provides you is better than none at all.

What did you attach above the rear view? The radar detecter or the display unit? I was thinking of getting one of these and mounting the detecter in front of the rear view to get a better "view" of the radar ahead.
