My custom show-car system for sale!
Hey all,
Many don't know me, but I'm one of the original preorder guys so I've had my Z for a while. Anyways, due to forces beyond my control, I have to sell my Z, and as such I'm parting out the stereo and selling it as well.
Anyways my install made it into several magazines and even onto the TV show "SuperTuners" on TNN. Here's my original post with lots of pics:
https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....&threadid=9506
The install cost me $5000 and was worth every penny. I'm not looking for anywhere near that much, just trying to recover some costs.
Below is each piece and what I'm asking. The pieces may not make sense unless you view the above post first. Any questions, please email nate350@wiger.org
Local Socal pickup is preferred, and I'm flexible on price... thanks...

Hatch sub install components for 12" Sub
This is the centerpiece... I can't tell you how many people have said "ooooo" when I open the hatch....
It installs easily - just remove the spare tire and other materials, drop in the box, then place the vinyl-covered pieces over it. The sub opening is painted chrome silver and is an exact match for the Z chrome silver (shop used the same paint code).
Installed:

Pieces:

Asking: $550 obo (originally cost >$1000)
This will fit any 12" sub, though it was designed to fit...

IDMAX 12" sub w/ chrome basket
Generally regarded as the "holy grail" of subs, if there was any possible way I could keep this I would. Honestly, it breaks my heart to have to sell it. It sounds unbelievable and has looks to match. Unfortunately it just won't fit in the little truck I had to buy.
The pic above shows it installed, here are some detail pics that don't do it justice. The only blemishes are slight scratches where the arrow is. The flash makes them look much bigger than reality. Just trying to be 100% up-front.

Asking: $400 obo This is a good price, w/ the chrome option it was >$600 new and this thing is near flawless...

For both... I would say $800. That's $150 off what I'm asking, and honestly, that's an amazing price. The sound speaks for itself, and you can't beat the looks. Originally those cost me over $2000.
I will IM you my phone #.
Kick panels for 4" mid + 1" tweeter
These kick panels are custom fiberglass based off the stock panels. As such, they look and fit exactly like a set of stock components. Again, everyone says "wow, do those come stock?!" when they sit in the car.
Not to sound like a salesman, but if you want awesome imaging with the stock look, these are the kick panels for you. They should fit most any 3-way set (mount the midbass in the door location). Note: If you've never heard kicks, and just think that tweeters should be mounted high up in the A-pillars, you need to listen to some good kicks like these. You will be amazed at how "high" the imaging is - way more even than stoopid A-pillar tweets.

Unassembled:

Asking: $300 obo, a ****ing bargain compared to the Qlogic and similar crap.

Dynaudio System 340 3-ways
Incredible component set. I reserve the right to retract these if I figure out a way to jam them into my little truck.
Amazing sound, imaging, and they fit into the kick panels that I'm selling above. Just mount the midbass (low) in the door spot. I placed in several competitions because of the imaging and lush sound these produce.
Blemishes: One set is 100% perfect. The other set has places where people have accidentally bumped and dented the speakers. These are all cosmetic issues and can be easily repaired by removing or replacing the grilles. The sound is flawless.

Asking: $600 obo, a great deal for $1000+ speakers. On eBay these sell for $750-800.

Damn bro, you got layaway? Offer payment options? Seriously, your system looks great! I wish like hell I had the Ben Franklins to plunk down on your kicks and 3-ways. Could really use them, plus workmanship looks ace. I hope everything's OK with you, sorry to hear you have to sell your Z! Best of luck with your sale!

1st dibs on the kicks please. Also, what size mounting hole for the Dynaudio Mid....
Any price break for buying both the kicks and Dynaudio components. Running CDT Eurosports now, but would love to hear the DynAudios.
Thanks.
